1 Getting Started
IPTV Canada (Internet Protocol Television) delivers live TV channels over your existing internet connection instead of a cable or satellite line. KoalaIPTV.com gives you 30,000+ HD and 4K channels — every major Canadian sports network, French-language channels, US networks, kids programming, and international content — for a fraction of what cable costs. You use an app on your existing device: Firestick, Smart TV, phone, or computer.
KoalaIPTV.com operates with publicly listed prices, a written 7-day money-back guarantee, and verifiable Canadian contact information. If you have specific legal questions about IPTV in your jurisdiction, we recommend consulting a legal professional. Our service is accessible to Canadian subscribers and we stand behind it with real customer support Monday to Saturday.
After subscribing, you receive an M3U URL and Xtream Codes credentials by email within 2–4 hours. You enter these into a compatible app (IBO Player or Hot Player are recommended) on your device. The app connects to our servers and loads your channel list — 30,000+ channels organized by category. Select a channel and it streams in HD or 4K over your internet connection. No dish, no cable technician, no equipment rental.
You need three things: a subscription (from $39.99 CAD), a compatible device (Firestick, Smart TV, Android TV, iPhone, Android, or PC), and an internet connection of at least 25 Mbps for HD or 50 Mbps for 4K. No special hardware purchase, no installation appointment, no contract. Setup takes under 10 minutes from the moment you receive your activation email.
Most orders are activated within 2–4 hours of payment during business hours (Monday to Saturday, 8 AM–8 PM ET). If you order outside business hours, your account is activated the next morning. You receive your M3U URL and Xtream Codes credentials by email. Our team manually verifies each activation before sending credentials to ensure your connection works from the first login.
Yes. Your KoalaIPTV subscription works on any internet connection in Canada — hotel Wi-Fi, a laptop at a cottage, a phone on a mobile data plan. Canadian channels stream normally regardless of which province you are in. For travel outside Canada, availability depends on local network conditions and any regional restrictions that may apply.
No. KoalaIPTV works on devices you likely already own — a Firestick, a Smart TV, an Android TV box, an iPhone, an Android phone, or a laptop. The recommended apps (IBO Player and Hot Player) are free to download. The only purchase required is your KoalaIPTV subscription starting at $39.99 CAD.

No. There is no auto-renewal and no automatic charge to your card at any time. You pay once for your chosen duration. When the plan expires, your service stops — no surprises, no locked-in contracts. We send a reminder email before expiry so you can choose to renew if you want to continue.
Yes. Extra simultaneous connections can be added at checkout. The 3-month and 6-month Standard plans include 1 connection by default; the 12-month and 24-month plans include 2. You can add up to 5 simultaneous connections per plan. Multiple devices can have the app installed — only the number of streams running at the same time is limited.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. Canadian Interac e-Transfer is also available — you receive transfer instructions at checkout and your account is activated once payment is confirmed. All prices are in Canadian dollars with no foreign exchange fees. For phone orders, our team at +1 (437) 703-0360 can process payment manually Monday to Saturday 8 AM–8 PM ET.
Yes — contact our support team by phone or WhatsApp at +1 (437) 703-0360 or email support@koalaiptv.com and we will arrange the upgrade. Typically we apply a prorated credit for your remaining Standard time toward your Premium subscription.
Yes. Every paid plan is backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee. 4 Devices & Setup
KoalaIPTV works on Amazon Firestick (all models including Lite, 4K, and 4K Max), Fire TV Cube, Android TV boxes, Smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, and Hisense, iPhones and iPads (iOS 13+), Android phones and tablets, Windows and Mac computers, and Formuler Z8 Pro. If your device has a screen and an internet connection, it almost certainly works.
On your Firestick, enable "Apps from Unknown Sources" in Developer Options if needed, then open the Amazon App Store and download IBO Player or Hot Player (both are free). Open the app, choose M3U or Xtream Codes setup, enter the credentials from your activation email, and wait 30–60 seconds for your channel list to load. Our support team can walk you through this live by phone or WhatsApp.
On Samsung (Tizen), download Smart IPTV from the Samsung App Store. On LG (webOS), download SS IPTV or Smart IPTV from the LG Content Store. On Sony (Android TV or Google TV), download IBO Player or Hot Player directly from the Google Play Store — Sony gives you the full Play Store, making it the most flexible Smart TV for IPTV. Our setup guide at /installation covers each TV brand step by step.
Yes. On iOS, we recommend IBO Player (available on the App Store) or GSE Smart IPTV. Both support M3U and Xtream Codes login and work well on iPhone and iPad. To stream to a TV from an iPhone or iPad, use AirPlay with an Apple TV or an AirPlay-compatible Smart TV.
IBO Player and Hot Player are our primary recommendations — they are free, fast, and work on Firestick, Android TV, iPhone, and Android. IBO Player has the most polished interface. Hot Player is slightly lighter and often performs better on older Firestick models. TiviMate is the best choice for Android TV boxes like NVIDIA Shield and offers the most feature-complete EPG experience. For Smart TVs, Smart IPTV is the standard.
Yes — you can install the app on as many devices as you own. The only limit is the number of simultaneous streams your plan includes (1 connection on 3-month and 6-month Standard, 2 on 12-month and 24-month Standard). You can watch on two screens at once on the 12-month plan, for example, regardless of how many devices you have installed the app on.
KoalaIPTV does not require a VPN — our service works directly on any Canadian internet connection. If you use a VPN for other purposes, it may reduce your streaming speed and cause buffering. We recommend disabling the VPN while streaming with KoalaIPTV for the best picture quality and lowest latency.
5 Technical & Speed
You need at least 15–25 Mbps for HD streaming and 25–50 Mbps for 4K per simultaneous stream. For a household running two HD streams at once, 30–50 Mbps is recommended. Most Canadian residential internet plans from Bell, Rogers, Telus, Videotron, Eastlink, and TekSavvy exceed these requirements. The key factor is stable throughput to your streaming device — a stable 30 Mbps connection beats an inconsistent 200 Mbps connection for IPTV.
Buffering is usually caused by one of these: an unstable Wi-Fi connection (switch to Ethernet if possible), a VPN slowing your connection (disable it), or a specific channel with temporary server congestion (try another channel to confirm). If multiple channels buffer on a wired connection with 25+ Mbps, contact our support team — we can investigate and usually resolve the issue within the call.
M3U is a single URL link that loads your full channel list — simpler to set up, works in virtually every IPTV app. Xtream Codes (a username, password, and server URL) is a login system that gives apps richer features like EPG guide data and VOD access. Both formats are provided in your KoalaIPTV activation email. IBO Player supports both. TiviMate works best with Xtream Codes.
Yes — significantly. Ethernet eliminates the signal variability that causes buffering. For your primary television, a wired connection is strongly recommended. Amazon sells a Micro-USB to Ethernet adapter for Firestick ($20 CAD). Most Smart TVs have a built-in Ethernet port on the back. For rooms where running cable is impractical, a powerline adapter kit ($60–100 CAD) transmits your network signal through your home's electrical wiring.
Contact our support team at +1 (437) 703-0360 or support@koalaiptv.com. Channel issues are usually resolved within a few hours — our team identifies whether it is a temporary server issue or a feed that needs to be updated in your channel list. We do not charge for channel support. Most issues are resolved the same day they are reported.
Yes. KoalaIPTV works with Bell, Rogers, Telus, Videotron, Cogeco, Eastlink, SaskTel, MTS, TekSavvy, Ebox, Oxio, and all other Canadian internet providers. We are not aware of any Canadian ISP that blocks our service. As long as your connection reaches the minimum speed requirement, the ISP does not affect performance.

7 Free Trial
Yes. KoalaIPTV offers a free trial for new Canadian subscribers. The trial gives you access to the full channel lineup — 30,000+ channels in HD and 4K — on your own devices and your own internet connection. No credit card is required to request the trial.
Fill out the short form on the /trial page with your name, email, and primary device. Our team processes trial requests during business hours and sends your trial credentials by email within 2–4 hours. You can also request by WhatsApp or phone at +1 (437) 703-0360.
No. The KoalaIPTV free trial requires only your name and email address. No credit card, no payment method, no automatic charge. If you decide to subscribe after the trial, you initiate that purchase yourself — nothing is charged automatically.
The trial gives you access to the same server and the same channel lineup as paid subscribers — 30,000+ channels in HD and 4K, including Canadian sports, French channels, and all major networks. We do not offer a degraded or limited trial. You should test every channel type you care about during the trial so you know exactly what you are subscribing to.
The trial period gives you enough time to test the service across your devices, at different times of day, and across the channel categories that matter most to you. Contact our support team if you need more time to complete your evaluation — we would rather you subscribe confident than rush a decision.
